The Rokubei Kiln began in the late Edo period (1771) with the first Shimizu Rokuhei, which opened in Gojozaka, Kyoto. For more than 250 years since then, the owners of each generation have brought out to the world a work that makes use of their unique characteristics in a family tradition. At the time of the sixth generation of six soldiers, Seiroku Toei Co., Ltd. (currently Kyoroku Co., Ltd.) was established as a company organization. Currently, under the supervision of Yatsushiro Rokubei, we are making products that match the modern lifestyle, such as tableware, vase, interior and tea ware, while making full use of the traditional Kyo ware style.
