The Japanese name for this beautiful Kokeshi Doll is Himesama which means Princess.

The Kokeshi Doll wears an elegant Kimono decorated with cherry blossoms that reflect

the refined floral decoration of the Sakura Crown Shaped Hair.

The Kokeshi is entirely hand painted by the artist Oki Izumi.

She has won numerous awards including:

1998: "Minister of Education Award"

2013: "Forestry Agency chief Award"

She is a member of the National Association of Creative Kokeshi.
